Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity is an exciting new destination for families, school groups, and curious minds of all ages! Located in the Steele Ocean Sciences Building at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Beaty Centre brings the underwater world of Nova Scotia to life through interactive exhibits, live local species, hands-on activities, and real research happening right here in Nova Scotia. 

Uncover the wonders of marine life, explore how climate change impacts the ocean, and get inspired by the innovative conservation efforts making waves in our region. It’s a fun and meaningful adventure where learning and culture meet discovery—and where every visitor leaves ready to help protect our blue planet.
